Tirra Seely is a Senior Associate Attorney based out of the firm’s Burlington/Mount Vernon and Bellingham offices.

Tirra is dedicated to serving and strengthening the communities of Whatcom County, where her legal practice is rooted. She takes pride in providing compassionate advocacy to local residents and in building lasting connections with healthcare providers, nonprofit partners, and community organizations that share her commitment to access to justice and equitable treatment for all.
Tirra earned her Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2019. During law school, she was deeply involved in advocacy, leadership, and service. She competed on the Jessup International Moot Court Team, serving as captain in her second year, and sat on the Boards of the Moot Court Honors Council, the Gonzaga Public Interest Law Project, and the Juvenile Record Sealing Clinic.
Her passion for justice and community engagement led her to complete internships with GLP Attorneys (Spokane), the Unemployment Law Project, and the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. During her second year of law school, she was also selected as a Trial Advocacy Fellow with the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ)—a distinction recognizing exceptional skill and commitment to advancing plaintiff advocacy. After graduation, Tirra joined GLP Attorneys as an Associate Attorney, where she continues to represent injured clients across the Pacific Northwest with empathy, integrity, and determination.
In addition to her client work, Tirra serves as the North Washington Regional Mentor for GLP Attorneys’ Legal Internship Program, which provides meaningful, hands-on experiences for law students pursuing careers in personal injury law.
Before attending law school, Tirra earned her Bachelor of Arts from Whitworth University (2014) and spent two years serving as an AmeriCorps volunteer in Whatcom County, where she developed a deep appreciation for the region’s people, values, and spirit of community service—a commitment she continues to honor through her legal practice today.
Tirra and her family live in Bellingham, Washington where she spends her free time making baked goods for her teammates at work, attending yoga classes, winding her way through her favorite used bookstores, and tasting beer at one of the many local breweries in Whatcom and Skagit counties.
