Carrie Sebold is GLP Attorneys' Controller and is based in the firm's Seattle headquarters.
Carrie Sebold serves as Controller overseeing the firm’s accounting operations and financial processes. Since joining the firm in June 2019 as a Trust Accounting Clerk, Carrie has steadily advanced through the accounting department, serving as Accounting Lead before being promoted to Controller in 2026.
Carrie brings a passion for understanding how systems work and identifying opportunities for improvement. She enjoys the unique perspective accounting provides, allowing her to see the bigger picture of an organization’s operations while helping tell the financial story behind the numbers. Her analytical mindset and dedication to improving processes help ensure the firm operates efficiently in support of our clients and the communities we serve.
Carrie earned her associate’s degree from St. Louis Community College in 2019 and completed her Certificate of Accountancy from North Seattle College in 2026.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Carrie lived in several parts of the country before making Seattle her home in 2019. She was drawn to the city’s opportunities, walkability, and access to the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. As a downtown Seattle resident, she enjoys exploring the city’s vibrant neighborhoods and discovering new restaurants and culinary experiences.
Outside of work, Carrie enjoys drawing, gaming, and cooking. Whether she is exploring a new corner of Seattle or tackling a complex accounting challenge, she is always eager to learn, create, and discover how things work.
