Scott Shawver is a Partner and leader of the Insurance Bad Faith practice at GLP Attorneys.
Scott’s extensive legal career spans multiple areas of law, giving him a uniquely well-rounded perspective as a personal injury attorney. Before joining GLP Attorneys in 2012, he spent many years as a criminal lawyer, gaining valuable trial experience and mastering courtroom strategy. He later worked at a national insurance defense firm, where he handled a wide variety of complex cases involving automobile collisions, product liability defects, premises liability claims, defamation, and commercial litigation.
Over the course of his career, Scott has tried more than one hundred cases—a level of courtroom experience that is rare even among the most seasoned trial lawyers. This breadth of experience has made him a powerful advocate for the wrongfully injured, allowing him to anticipate defense strategies, navigate intricate legal issues, and deliver outstanding results for his clients.
