Introduction
The Seattle Times reported that an SUV crashed into a home in Auburn early this morning, killing one person and critically injuring three others.
What happened?
According to the Auburn Police Department, officers were called to the scene around 2:45 a.m. this morning to respond to the crash.
Though police are still investigating the crash, they have reported that no one inside the home was injured. The injuries were sustained by passengers of the SUV, some of whom were ejected from the vehicle as it rolled multiple times before crashing into the home.
What caused the crash?
According to reports, the SUV driver lost control of the vehicle, possibly due in part to the vehicle travelling at high speed.
What happened to the victims?
The three critically injured people were transported to Harborview Medical Center. The person who was killed in crash is expected to be identified by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office in the next few days.
