An SUV ended up on its nose between two other cars Tuesday in Puyallup after its driver flipped it into a Starbucks drive-thru, according to a Pierce County Sheriff’s Department Facebook post. No one was injured.
A 42-year-old woman drove the SUV through an intersection in the South Hill neighborhood, hit the curb and multiple trees, then flipped the vehicle over and crashed into two cars in the drive-thru lane.
The incident occurred about 11 a.m. near the intersection of Meridian Avenue East and 132nd Street East.
Investigators believe drugs played a role, the department said. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
