Washington Motorcycle Riders Must Now Carry Insurance

Keep in mind that this law applies to liability insurance.  If you are going to ride a motorcycle, we very strongly recommend that you purchase Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage in the highest amounts you can afford.  Injuries in motorcycles tend to be more significant due to greater exposure to harm without the protection of a vehicle frame.  Don’t wait until a collision to find out you don’t have adequate coverage.
