For forty years, GLP Attorneys has been dedicated to helping injured people and their families find justice, accountability, and a path forward after life-changing injuries. As we celebrate our 40th anniversary in 2026, we are honored to share that 23 GLP Attorneys have been recognized on the 2026 Washington Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists.
These recognitions reflect not only individual achievement, but also our firm's long-standing commitment to excellence, client advocacy, and service to communities throughout the Pacific Northwest.
What Is a Super Lawyer?
Super Lawyers is a rating service that recognizes outstanding attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Attorneys are selected through a patented multiphase process that includes peer nominations, independent research, and evaluations across numerous professional achievement indicators.
Each year, only a small percentage of attorneys in Washington State are selected for inclusion on the Super Lawyers list. The designation is widely recognized as a mark of excellence within the legal profession and reflects an attorney's reputation among peers and commitment to serving clients.
How Do You Become a Super Lawyer?
Attorneys cannot nominate themselves for Super Lawyers. The selection process begins with peer nominations from fellow attorneys who have personally observed an attorney's work.
Candidates are then evaluated through independent research and assessed on factors including:
- Professional experience and achievements
- Verdicts and settlements
- Honors and awards
- Leadership within the legal profession
- Scholarly lectures and publications
- Community involvement
- Peer recognition
The highest-scoring attorneys undergo further review before final selections are made. Ultimately, only about 5% of attorneys in each state are named Super Lawyers.
A Legacy of Excellence
As GLP Attorneys marks four decades of serving injury victims, this year's honorees represent both the experience that has defined our firm and the next generation of advocates carrying that legacy forward.
Several of our attorneys have earned recognition year after year, demonstrating a sustained commitment to exceptional client service and legal excellence.

Recognizing the Next Generation of Leaders
The Rising Stars designation highlights emerging attorneys who are already making a significant impact on behalf of their clients and communities.

Many of our current Super Lawyers first appeared on the Rising Stars list early in their careers, reflecting a tradition of mentorship, professional growth, and leadership development within the firm. Their progression from Rising Stars to Super Lawyers demonstrates the depth of talent and commitment that continues to define GLP Attorneys.
What Is a Rising Star?
The Rising Stars list recognizes exceptional up-and-coming attorneys who have demonstrated excellence early in their legal careers.
To be eligible, attorneys must either be:
- 40 years old or younger, or
- In practice for 10 years or less
Like the Super Lawyers list, Rising Stars candidates are evaluated based on peer recognition and professional achievement. No more than 2.5% of attorneys in a state receive this distinction each year.
Many attorneys who are recognized as Rising Stars go on to become Super Lawyers as their careers advance.
How Do You Become a Rising Star?
The Rising Stars selection process mirrors the Super Lawyers process and includes peer nominations, independent research, and professional evaluation.
Attorneys are assessed on many of the same criteria used for Super Lawyers, including:
- Legal accomplishments
- Professional competence
- Peer recognition
- Leadership and community involvement
- Career achievements relative to experience level
Because eligibility is limited to younger attorneys and those early in their careers, the Rising Stars list highlights lawyers who have already established themselves as emerging leaders in their practice areas.
At GLP Attorneys, several of our current Washington Super Lawyers were previously recognized as Rising Stars, reflecting a long-standing commitment to mentorship, professional development, and excellence in personal injury law.
Forty Years of Building a Stronger Future
This year's recognition comes during a milestone year for our firm. Since 1986, GLP Attorneys has grown from a single office into one of the Pacific Northwest's largest personal injury law firms, with more than 180 employees and offices serving communities across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
While much has changed over the last four decades, our mission remains the same: helping injured people rebuild their lives after tragedy strikes. The attorneys recognized by Super Lawyers represent thousands of hours spent advocating for clients, fighting insurance companies, supporting families through difficult times, and pursuing justice in courtrooms across the region.
As we celebrate both our 40th anniversary and this year's honorees, we are grateful for the trust our clients place in us and for the opportunity to continue serving our communities for years to come.
Congratulations to all of our 2026 Washington Super Lawyers and Rising Stars honorees.
