The Skagit Silver & Gold Gala was a huge success on December 2, 2021. Skagit County Bar Association hosted this event at Il Granaio Restaurant in Mount Vernon as their annual holiday party and also Skagit Legal Aid’s 1st Annual Fundraiser.
GLP Attorneys had several employees in attendance who are also members of the Skagit County Bar Association and highly involved in Skagit Legal Aid. Shareholder Heather Webb over our North Washington and Wenatchee offices, Associate Attorney Amme Verbarendse in our Burlington office, and Marketing and Administrative Assistant Ashleigh Bombatch in our Burlington office coordinated the logistics of the event. Others in attendance included Shareholder Jonathan Yousling who works in our Burlington and Bellingham offices, Managing Shareholder John Webber from our Seattle office, and Staff Attorney Sarah Aguero in our Burlington office.
In the raise the paddle event, they were able to surpass their goal of $25,000 to go towards Skagit Legal Aid, an organization that works to provide free legal assistance for those in Skagit County who cannot afford to hire an attorney.
