We are so proud to announce that GLP Attorneys Managing Shareholder John Webber from our Seattle office has been elected to serve as Vice President of Public Affairs for the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) for 2020-2021. WSAJ is the oldest and largest civil justice advocacy organization in the Pacific Northwest, and works with Washington’s top law firms, attorneys, legal professionals and consumer groups to protect the legal rights of wronged consumers, injured citizens, patients and workers.
Regarding his new position, John stated, “I am honored to have been elected to serve in this important position, particularly in a time when we collectively battle a pandemic and reckon with racial injustice. A core value of WSAJ is that truth guides the pursuit of justice. I look forward to working with my colleagues in WSAJ and our communities across Washington to talk about the important work we do to protect the right to trial by jury, and to hold accountable those who cause harm. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together in the upcoming year.”
