In October, Shareholder James Gooding was admitted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) www.abota.org which is the most prestigious trial lawyer group in the United States. It is for trial lawyers of any type (plaintiff and defense, civil and criminal). There are 118 Washington lawyers total in ABOTA. 65 of those are in Seattle and about half of those are in personal injury.
To be admitted, Jim had to prove that he had a number of trial verdicts and be voted in by the current members of the WA chapter.
