Nursing Homes and the Coronavirus

Residents in nursing homes around Washington are vulnerable, and must be protected from all harm and neglect, but particularly from COVID-19, commonly referred to as the coronavirus.  The Seattle Times investigated 7 recent deaths from the virus at the Life Care Center in Kirkland, which is at the center of the coranvirus outbreak in Washington:

Nursing homes need to do more to protect residents.  The Seattle Times notes that residents of homes are not just vulnerable due to age or already compromised health, but because many homes have been cited for health violations.
