The Griswold v. Fred Meyer Stores case, which was won by GLP Attorneys in March 2020, has been highlighted in the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Trial Magazine, March 2021 issue. Landing a $2.7 million verdict, this case was a significant win for Shareholder James Gooding, Associate Attorney Sarah Fleming, and Associate Attorney Anne Vankirk. The client, a 32-year-old woman, was injured while shopping at a Fred Meyer store when a furniture dolly fell on her foot. The injury resulted in a traumatic Morton’s Neuroma and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CPRS) and is believed to be the largest reported CRPS verdict in the State of Washington.
