Multi-Vehicle Collision With Semi-Truck Leaves I-5 Backed Up on Monday Evening

On Monday, January 8, 2024, the southbound I-5 was closed after a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck. The Washington State Department of Transportation interactive map indicated that southbound traffic was backed up from Ohio Street to Slater Road.

State Patrol Officer Kelsey Harding said minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. Harding also explained the long delay was due to the semi-truck taking longer to tow compared to cars.

Personal injury cases from a semi-truck injury can be complex, and it is important that you understand the variety of different liability and insurance coverage issues that may apply to your case. If you think that someone was at fault in causing a collision that you, a family member, or a friend were involved in, you should have the facts of your claim reviewed by a lawyer as soon as possible.
