Wildfire Closes Portion of Interstate 90 in Washington State

Recently, the Washington Department of Transportation closed down sections of Route 21 and Interstate 90, due to wildfire safety concerns. These routes are closed indefinitely until the fire is properly controlled.  Wildfires have been raging across the Pacific Northwest impacting local communities. There are currently eight large wildfires in Washington State covering nearly 300,000 acres.
