$350,000 settlement for slip and fall on a city sidewalk. A woman was walking with her husband along a city sidewalk when she approached a portion of the walkway that had a hidden danger, a sudden drop in elevation that was not marked or painted to warn pedestrians of the dangerous condition. The presence of this condition had been known to both the city and the adjacent property owner for many years. Yet, no repairs were ever performed and no warning signs were ever installed. The woman fractured her nose, multiple facial bones, and suffered a traumatic brain injury.
